You Matter
Dear Friend,
It was an honor to sit with you today.
During our conversation, we saw how deeply rooted the belief, "I don't matter," was in your life.
You are not alone.
If we believe we do not matter, it makes sense that we spend much of our lives trying to prove that we do. We work harder, give more, accomplish more, and carry the exhausting burden of seeking evidence of our worth.
How do I know this?
I lived it.
What I would love for you to explore is this:
What do you get to have now that you see you matter?
Not because of what you do.
Not because of what you accomplish.
Not because of what you give to others.
Simply because of your beingness.
The trees are not trying to prove they matter.
Their value comes from their beingness.
So does yours.
This week, notice the moments when you find yourself trying to prove your worth.
Pause.
Take a breath.
And remember:
You matter.
Not because of what you do.
Because you are.
Sending Love,
Anna
